ffDiaporama is an application that give you the opportunity of making your own movies out of photos and small video clips, without necessarily having a background knowledge. You can easily add various visual effects or isolate specific parts or dress any part with your favourite music.
It is available to many distributions (Ubuntu, Fedora, OpenSuse, ArchLinux, Mint, Mageia, Mandriva, Gentoo), as well as to Windows. The code of the application is also available.
Its use is very simple: you just import the desired pictures and clips, you can edit a photo by clicking on it (all the editing choices are located to the application’s panel), you can add effects, you can import audio tracks and by a simple drag-and-drop you can locate them to the place that you want to. Finally, you can export your movie to any format so as to be able to load it in any device and share it.
As you can see yourselves, the application has a great variety of editing selections and of course you don’t have to use them all to create a nice video from your vacation or from an event. All you have to do is to spend some time with it and you will create beautiful movies to share with your friends and family.
